If Van Barneveld prevails against Williams in their match, the youngest competitor in the World Darts Championship will be waiting at the last sixteen, 16-year-old prodigy Luke Littler.
Krzysztof Ratajski and Jonny Clayton are at odds as well. The players’ performances in the competition began mediocrely. Clayton defeated Steve Lennon 3-1, but his average was only 88. Ratajski defeated Jamie Hughes 3-1 with an 89 average.
