The Boston Celtics Announce Their roster Move Before Spurs Game

The Boston Celtics will host the San Antonio Spurs in Massachusetts on Wednesday night.

A win would raise the Celtics’ record on their home court to an incredible 20–0.

The Celtics made their roster change known prior to Tuesday’s game.

Walsh, an Arkansas native, was selected 38th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, but he hasn’t yet made his Celtics debut.

The majority of the 19-year-old’s season has been played in the G League with the Maine Celtics.

Walsh shot 43.8% from the field and 34.1% from three-point range in 16 Showcase Cup games, averaging 14.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game (he also played in eight regular season games).

With a 31-9 record through 40 games played, the Celtics are the top seed in the Eastern Conference and are having an incredible season.

They have won seven of their past ten games and are currently enjoying a two-game winning run.

The Toronto Raptors (in Canada) were defeated by the Celtics most recently, 105-96.
