Piotr Zielinski, a midfielder for Napoli whose contract expires at the end of this campaign, is someone Liverpool is preparing to try to sign again. In 2016, Jurgen Klopp met with the Poland international in person and expressed interest in signing him, but a deal with his previous club, Juventus, fell through.
Instead, the 29-year-old Zielinski joined Napoli, with whom he had been friends for seven years. The Pole is no closer to guaranteeing his future with the Italian champions despite turning down a big-money move to Saudi Arabia over the summer.
