Host: Now, Nikola, we’ve got to talk about the All-Star festivities, but before we dive into that, let’s talk about the incredible season both you and the Denver Nuggets are having. How do you feel about the team’s performance so far?
Nikola Jokic: It’s been a great season for us. The team has been working hard, and we’ve had some challenges, but overall, we’re playing well. We’re focused on getting better every day and making a deep playoff run.
Host: Absolutely, and one player who’s been making waves this season is Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics. You’ve mentioned before that you enjoy watching other players in the league. What are your thoughts on Tatum’s game?
Nikola Jokic: Jayson Tatum is playing at an amazing level. He’s a versatile scorer, can create his own shot, and he’s been a leader for the Celtics. His skills are impressive, and I enjoy watching his game. It’s always great to see talented players elevate their performance.
Host: No doubt about that. Now, speaking of the Celtics, there have been some exciting matchups between your Nuggets and their team. What are your thoughts on the Celtics’ overall performance this season?
Nikola Jokic: The Celtics are playing fantastic basketball. They have a talented roster, and they’ve been executing well on both ends of the floor. It’s always challenging facing them, but those matchups bring out the best in both teams. It’s good for the fans and the league.
Host: Absolutely, the fans love to see those intense matchups. Now, as we shift our focus to the All-Star Weekend, you’ve been an All-Star multiple times. What does it mean for you to be a part of this prestigious event once again?
Nikola Jokic: Being selected as an All-Star is always an honor. It’s a recognition of the hard work and dedication that players put into their craft. It’s also a chance to compete with and against the best in the league, and I always look forward to the experience.
