Manchester United are trying to find a way to offload Jadon Sancho in January and reports suggest he is now open to joining Juventus.
Erik ten Hag kicked the England international out of the first team, and he hasn’t played in a league game since August.
With Man Utd struggling to produce results, Ten Hag is coming under more and more criticism, which has given rise to rumours that Sancho may outlast the manager at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag, nevertheless, is currently desperate to let go of the winger in January. The 23-year-old has been linked to other teams, including his former squad Borussia Dortmund.
Man Utd is want to get as much of their money back as possible after spending £73 million to buy Sancho in 2021.
Juventus may be able to sell Tottenham target even though they don’t have as much money as some of the winger’s other admirers. Junior Samuel Iling to help boost their funds.
Now, a fresh report has revealed that Sancho is open to having a conversation with the Italian giant’s representatives.
Sancho to ‘listen to Juventus offer’ in January
Sancho is “open to listening to an offer from Juventus in January,” according to Calciomercato.
The Turin-based team has allegedly been “working with market intermediaries to explore a deal for the Man Utd winger,” according to the article.
Juventus “wants the Red Devils to pay two thirds of his £250,000-per-week salary, but they have made an offer to sign Sancho on loan with an option to buy.”
Man Utd is reportedly “aware of the offer” from Juventus but is “waiting for better offers.”
In light of this, Sancho might move to Serie A if no other teams place a higher-value bid on him in the upcoming days and weeks.
It’s interesting to see that Ten Hag isn’t the only top earner hoping to move on this winter except Sancho.
Anthony Martial’s contract with Manchester United expires at the end of the current campaign, and the team has decided not to renew it, as reported by TEAMtalk.
The Premier League’s biggest clubs will therefore attempt to offload him in January to prevent losing him on a free transfer.
The French striker has drawn interest from Fenerbahce and is also being watched by a few Saudi teams.
Ten Hag will have more money to work with in the next window if Man Utd are able to move Sancho and Martial next month.
