In a similar spirit, the Steelers appointed linebackers coach and senior defensive assistant Brian Flores, who is currently the defensive coordinator for the Vikings, in 2022. Vrabel may choose to do so prior to relocating to Tennessee. He served as the Texans’ linebackers coach from 2014 to 2016 and defensive coordinator in 2017.

Furthermore, Vrabel already gets along well with Pittsburgh’s new offensive coordinator, Arthur Smith. From 2019 to 2021, Smith was Vrabel’s offensive coordinator with the Titans; it’s possible that the two may stay in Pittsburgh together.
