Injury report: Jerry Jeudy, Marvin Mims Jr., and Courtland Sutton all doubtful for the Week 17 matchup against the Chargers.
Against the Chargers, the Broncos may be without a number of their best receivers.
Jerry Jeudy (illness) and Marvin Mims Jr. (hamstring) are both classified as questionable, while Courtland Sutton (concussion) was ruled out.
Jeudy was added to the report on Friday, thus none of the three receivers had a practice. Mims did not practise on Friday after being listed as a limited participant on Thursday. Sutton had a concussion against the Patriots in Week 16, and he hasn’t practiced since.
The Broncos may use the practice squad to bolster their receiving corps if needed, according to head coach Sean Payton.
Both tackle Alex Palczewski (knee) and tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring/foot) were ruled out and are still on injured reserve.
Running back Dwayne Washington was also classified as doubtful due to his sickness, which kept him out of practice for three days in a row. Jeudy and Mims were also mentioned.
Security After missing practice on Thursday due to sickness, Justin Simmons is expected to be available for the game on Friday after making a full recovery. His lack of a game status suggests that he will be accessible.
Aside from defensive lineman Mike Purcell (NIR – rest), tight end Chris Manhertz (NIR – rest), running back Samaje Perine (NIR – rest), and outside linebacker Nik Bonitto (knee) were all full participants and did not receive game status assignments.
The Broncos will face the Chargers in their regular-season home finale at 2:25 p.m. MT on Sunday.
