“I’m just his worst nightmare, believe me,” says Michael Van Gerwen, who feels fortunate not to have been born sooner to witness Phil Taylor’s dominance.
With a hint of irony, Michael van Gerwen described himself as Phil Taylor’s worst nightmare and expressed gratitude that he wasn’t born sooner while simultaneously holding the belief that he would.
When Van Gerwen was asked about Taylor on JaackMaate’s Happy Hour podcast, he recounted an event in which he claimed to have taken Taylor to the floor and questioned what he did after ‘The Power’ had allegedly started talking gibberish.
