Former NBA player Nate Robinson has expressed that he faces a limited lifespan unless he receives a kidney transplant, as reported by Jake Nisse of the Daily Mail.
“I know that I don’t have long if I can’t get a kidney,” Robinson conveyed. “I know I’m not going to have long to live.
So I just want to make the best of it as much as I can.” He emphasized the importance of dialysis in sustaining his life, acknowledging that without it, he might not survive beyond a week or two.
Robinson disclosed his battle with renal kidney failure in October 2022, following a career spanning 11 seasons across various NBA teams, including the New York Knicks.
He continued to pursue basketball in different leagues until his retirement in 2018 due to renal kidney failure.
