Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods claims that Texas EDGE Barryn Sorrell will be going back to school for an additional year. Sorrell wants to play on the 40 Acres for at least another year, but the NFL was going to be a possibility.
Richardson started, “Good news, Longhorn fans.” “Barryn Sorrell will play his 2024 season in Texas, according to multiple sources, after he spent three days deciding whether to declare for the NFL Draft.”

First round action on Thursday, April 25, followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 26, and the fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday, April 27, will take place in Detroit, Michigan, site of the 2024 NFL Draft.
The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, which takes place in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 26 to March 4, will give players the chance to strengthen their draft stock.
ESPN and NFL Network will broadcast the three-day competition all weekend long.
Players must have used up their college eligibility and be at least three years out from their senior year of high school in order to be eligible for the NFL Draft. Players who have graduated before exhausting their collegiate eligibility as well as underclassmen can apply for league approval to be eligible for the draft.
For the 2023 NFL Draft, 69 players were given special eligibility last season. Thirteen freshmen who had earned their bachelor’s degrees were also considered qualified for selection.
The deadline to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft is on January 15. NFL teams will receive a full list of eligible players in the class on January 19.
