This past Wednesday, new Boston Celtics floor general Rudy Holiday gave his first speech to the NBA media and took part in his first practice with the illustrious team.

Everyone in attendance could immediately sense the impact of Holiday during the session. On one play in particular, the UCLA product showed off his defensive prowess by stopping Jaylen Brown, an NBA forward who is known for his strength, in his tracks. Compared to other of the team’s stronger personalities, Holiday seems to have a more modest leadership style, but on the court, he is expected to set an example.
